Help Give Horses a Second Chance
Join our dedicated team of volunteers and help Kentucky’s equines heal, thrive, and find loving homes. Volunteers are essential to the mission of the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center (KYEAC), and we could not do this work without the time, care, and commitment of people like you. Every hour you give makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the horses we serve and the community we support.
Whether you enjoy hands-on barn work, assisting with events, or supporting our efforts behind the scenes, there is a place for you at KYEAC. By volunteering, you become part of a passionate team dedicated to the well-being, care, and adoption of horses in need.
To get started, please complete the volunteer registration form by clicking the button below.

Daily Farm Activities: Assist with feeding, watering, mucking stalls, and other barn chores.
Office Work: Help with answering phones, organizing paperwork, and other administrative tasks to support our team.
Events and Fundraisers: Play a key role in supporting our mission by assisting with events and fundraising activities. Help with tasks such as event setup, takedown, and staffing to ensure everything runs smoothly and successfully.
Requirements:
Age: Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
Orientation: All volunteers will undergo a brief on-site orientation conducted by our staff before beginning their duties.
Commitment: We encourage volunteers to commit to 8-10 hours per month, roughly 2 hours per week. Shifts are available 7 days a week between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM

We look forward to welcoming you to our team and working together to make a difference in the lives of Kentucky's equines!
