Now Hiring: Equine Care Specialist/Trainer — Full-Time

The Kentucky Equine Adoption Center is seeking an experienced, professional horse trainer to join our team and help give horses in need a second chance.

As one of Kentucky’s largest all-equine rescue and adoption organizations, KYEAC provides care, rehabilitation, retraining, and adoption services for horses from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our Equine Care Specialist/Trainer plays an important role in preparing each horse for a successful future, whether that means becoming a well-mannered companion or developing into a safe and enjoyable riding horse.

This is a hands-on, full-time position that combines daily horse care and wellness with professional training and rehabilitation. We’re looking for someone with current professional horse-training experience, strong horsemanship and riding skills, sound equine health knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping horses reach their individual potential.

If you’re an experienced trainer who believes exceptional horsemanship begins with exceptional care and would like to put your skills to work in a mission-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Ready to Apply?

Please email your cover letter and resume to info@kyeac.org, Attention: Carrie Wood, Executive Director. Please also include at least two references, including one from the equine industry.
