2010 16HH Chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding
 
Meet Visibility, a gentle and big-hearted off-track Thoroughbred with a calm, easygoing nature. This friendly gelding is looking for his forever home as a companion due to some soundness challenges. He has navicular disease that is moderate in his right front and mild in his left, and he currently wears glue-on shoes to support his hooves. He also has a large split in his front left hoof that our farrier has been addressing, and it continues to improve with care. In addition, Visibility has mild degeneration in his front coffin bones and some arthritis in his left hock. 
 
To keep him comfortable, he receives annual injections in his right front navicular region, front coffin bones, and left hock. His daily care includes 4 pounds of McCauley’s Top Breeder, along with a joint supplement, a hoof supplement, and one Equioxx tablet.
 
Visibility adores people and loves attention, making him the perfect best friend—whether it’s to another horse or a loving human. He is in-your-pocket in the field and loves scratches. Adoption Home Level: Novice

This adopter feels confident handling horses on the ground and can groom, tack up, and take care of basic needs on their own. They’re comfortable riding a gentle, well-trained horse at a walk, trot, and canter without supervision. They may also have some experience with groundwork, like lunging or working in the round pen.
