New Arrival! Meet Vicki, a beautiful gray mare who recently came to us through an animal control case. When her owner could no longer provide care, Vicki needed a safe place to land — and we’re grateful to be that place.
 
Vicki is entering her golden years and is looking for a quiet, non-riding home where she can enjoy life at a slower pace. While she was not emaciated upon arrival, like many horses, she benefits from consistent care, good nutrition, and a calm environment.
 
During her intake exam, we also discovered that Vicki is pregnant and expected to foal in late March. This sweet mare has quite the surprise on the way, and we’re excited to share updates as her due date approaches.
 
Vicki will be available for adoption after her foal is weaned. Stay tuned for more updates on this special mare and her upcoming arrival.

Adoption Home Level: Novice

This adopter feels confident handling horses on the ground and can groom, tack up, and take care of basic needs on their own. They’re comfortable riding a gentle, well-trained horse at a walk, trot, and canter without supervision. They may also have some experience with groundwork, like lunging or working in the round pen.
