Terra came to KYEAC from the Appalachian Horse Project heavily in foal. Before giving birth to her colt, Theo, in April 2023, Terra was feral but already showing curiosity toward humans. Since arriving at KYEAC, she has continued to make steady progress in accepting touch and human interaction.
 
After Theo was weaned, Terra was gradually introduced to our training program. She is a shy mare who is learning to build confidence and trust with her trainer through consistent, patient handling.
 
Terra has excellent feet, is a fairly easy keeper, and we have not observed any evidence that she is gaited. She would thrive in a trainer-type home with previous experience working with feral horses, where she can continue building confidence and developing her skills.
