Meet Teelfa, a stunning off-track Thoroughbred (OTTB) mare ready to shine in her next chapter. She is best suited for a flatwork-only home and would thrive with an experienced rider or an intermediate rider working closely with a trainer. Forward-thinking and sensitive, Teelfa enjoys clear communication and partnership, and she has been light, quick, and responsive in her groundwork as she prepares to restart under saddle.
 
Teelfa has been diagnosed with very mild kissing spine and is currently maintained on Equioxx along with monthly chiropractic care, both of which have supported steady improvement. She benefits from consistency and routine and is happiest when she knows what to expect from her day.
 
Her daily care includes 1.5 scoops of Hallway Feeds Quantify®, a joint supplement, and front nail-on shoes. She can be prone to rain rot and sweet itch on her hind fetlocks, but with regular management, these conditions are well controlled. Teelfa is an easy keeper with no additional pasture restrictions.

This adopter has spent a good amount of time around horses—through lessons, mentorship, or hands-on experience—and feels confident handling and caring for them independently. They’re comfortable riding at all gaits (walk, trot, and canter), and can lunge or round pen a horse with ease. They also have some experience with less-seasoned or “greener” horses, especially when working with support from a trainer.
