Ruffles is a laid back, sweet gal who has been used in both our Stable Foundations and Equine EdVentures educations programs. She does great around kids and larger groups of people. She is patient, kind, and loves a good grooming session. Ruffles is a great teacher, and has been used to teach groundwork, basic horsemanship, parts of the horse, and much more to kids and adults seeking to further their equine knowledge. Ruffles is solid and confident in her groundwork, and stands tied patiently when in company.  Though she is pasture sound with the help of front shoes, she is a non-riding companion only due to arthritis and slight founder. Ruffles does have Cushing’s disease and requires daily medication. Special care should also be taken to meet her dietary needs and restrictions to prevent any further laminitic episodes, and to keep her in good body condition.

Total price includes: Adoption Fee($800) + Deposit($250) = $1050
 
AAt KYEAC, we require adopters to complete an inspection on the adopted horse 6 and 12 months following adoption. To ensure adopters comply with their inspections, a $250 deposit is required on all horses priced under $2,000 and a $500 deposit is required on all horses priced $2000 and over. This deposit is already calculated into the adoption fee. If the adopter complies with the inspections, this deposit will be fully refunded after the requirements of the 6 and 12-month inspection have been met to our satisfaction. If the adopter does not comply with their inspections, their deposit will be forfeited.
