Millie is an adorable mare who loves her pasture buddies. Before coming to us, Millie hadn’t received much attention, so she can be a bit timid as she learns to trust and feel secure in her surroundings.
 
She’s making steady progress and benefits greatly from consistency and patient handling. She’ll need a trainer-type home to continue her development and guide her toward becoming a solid and well-adjusted companion. She is not rideable due to a coffin bone rotation and will need strict dietary restrictions to manage and prevent any laminitis episodes.
 
At this time, we are not accepting adoption applications for Millie as she manages chronic laminitis, founder, and arthritis. Our team is currently developing a long-term care plan to ensure she remains comfortable and well-supported.

This adopter is just starting out on their horse journey and is building skills and confidence. They can handle basic grooming, care, and groundwork with a little help. They may be comfortable riding at a walk on their own and are beginning to trot or canter with some guidance. They’re likely working with a trainer and steadily gaining independence with well-mannered horses.
