Loving Touch truly lives up to his name! This gentle, kind-hearted gelding has a calm demeanor and a sweet personality that’s impossible not to love.
He came to us off the track with a chip in his right front knee, which has since been successfully removed, though it left him with some arthritis. He also has bone spurs in both stifles that limit his ability to work and require injections every six months. Loving Touch has thin soles and currently wears shoes on all four feet.
 
He is currently on Prascend to support his metabolic health and Equioxx to help manage arthritis-related discomfort.
 
At this time, we are not accepting adoption applications for Loving Touch as our team formulates a long-term care plan to ensure his ongoing comfort and well-being.

Adoption Home Level: Novice

This adopter feels confident handling horses on the ground and can groom, tack up, and take care of basic needs on their own. They’re comfortable riding a gentle, well-trained horse at a walk, trot, and canter without supervision. They may also have some experience with groundwork, like lunging or working in the round pen.
