Loving Touch truly lives up to his name. This gentle, kind-hearted gelding has a calm demeanor and a sweet personality that make him a joy to be around.
Loving Touch arrived at KYEAC after his racing career with a chip in his right front knee. The chip was successfully removed, but he does have some residual arthritis. He also has bone spurs in both stifles that limit his ability to work and require maintenance injections every six months. Additionally, he has thin soles and currently wears shoes on all four feet.
To help keep him comfortable and healthy, Loving Touch receives daily Prascend for metabolic support and Equioxx for arthritis management.
In the pasture, Loving Touch is a friendly companion who enjoys spending time with his herd mates. He also loves being groomed and soaking up attention from his people. His affectionate nature and easygoing personality make him an excellent non-riding companion for someone looking for a special horse to love.

This adopter feels confident handling horses on the ground and can groom, tack up, and take care of basic needs on their own. They’re comfortable riding a gentle, well-trained horse at a walk, trot, and canter without supervision. They may also have some experience with groundwork, like lunging or working in the round pen.
