“Goose” is a flashy young Paso Fino gelding with a bright future! Rescued from a neglect case, he’s been making impressive strides in our training program. This adorable guy has a big appetite and always tries his best to impress, especially when treats are involved!
 
Goose is halter-broke and eager to learn, but he’ll need an experienced, trainer-type adopter to help him build confidence and reach his full potential. His main challenge is separation anxiety when taken away from his field. To address this, we’ve developed a routine that gradually increases his distance from the field during each session, using positive reinforcement like affection and snacks. He’s also on SmartTranquility to support his nervous system. This combination has helped him grow more confident and independent, and he continues to progress steadily.
 
Once Goose can consistently stay calm and relaxed away from his field, we’ll begin his under-saddle training. He is sound, curious, and ready to learn.

Adoption Home Level: Intermediate

This adopter has spent a good amount of time around horses—through lessons, mentorship, or hands-on experience—and feels confident handling and caring for them independently. They’re comfortable riding at all gaits (walk, trot, and canter), and can lunge or round pen a horse with ease. They also have some experience with less-seasoned or “greener” horses, especially when working with support from a trainer.
