2022 15.0 HH Chestnut Grade Filly
 
This young filly arrived at our facility in December 2025 from the feral herds of eastern Kentucky. As you might expect, she is still wary of people, but beneath that caution is a naturally curious horse who is beginning to take those first important steps toward trust.
 
She now happily comes to the fence for her daily grain and will even eat from our hands, small but meaningful milestones that show her growing comfort around people. Our trainers are patiently working with her to build a relationship and help her feel safe and confident during human interactions.
 
Because she is still very green and largely unhandled, her training journey is just getting started. We will continue to share updates as she progresses and as we learn more about her personality and potential. Currently, she receives 3 quarts of Hallway Feeds Edge 14® daily to support her nutritional needs.
 
This filly will require an experienced adopter who is comfortable working with unstarted or more challenging horses and is willing to provide the time, patience, and consistency she needs to thrive. For the right person, helping her build trust and confidence will be an incredibly rewarding journey.

This adopter has extensive hands-on experience with horses, often gained through years of riding, training, and formal education. They're confident working with green, unstarted, or more challenging horses on their own and have a strong grasp of advanced riding, care, and management—including supporting horses with special medical needs. They may even work professionally as a trainer, rider, instructor, or equine caregiver.
