2000 15.1 HH Gray Appaloosa Cross Mare
 
Angel is a lovely gray spotted Appaloosa-cross mare who recently came to us through an animal control case after her owner could no longer care for her. Thankfully, she was not emaciated and has settled in well at the Center alongside her friend, Vicki.
 
Now in her 20s, Angel is enjoying her golden years and is searching for a peaceful, non-riding home where she can take life at a slower pace. She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but with patience, trust, and consistency, she continues to come out of her shell. Angel definitely has a bit of “boss mare” energy and enjoys having pasture buddies around.
 
Angel would make a wonderful companion horse for someone ready to offer comfort, kindness, and a soft place to land. If you have room in your heart and pasture for a sweet senior mare, Angel would love to spend her retirement surrounded by love and care.

This adopter feels confident handling horses on the ground and can groom, tack up, and take care of basic needs on their own. They’re comfortable riding a gentle, well-trained horse at a walk, trot, and canter without supervision. They may also have some experience with groundwork, like lunging or working in the round pen.
